Yolanda (aka Yo) Tharrington
Vocals
Singing since the young age of 7, Yolanda’s talent has taken her all over the world, touring in Asia, Australia and all across the US. Her vocal range, versatility and ability to authentically deliver performances has led her to share the stage with many artists like the Black Eyed Peas and Patti LaBelle. Yo brings great energy, connection to the audience, and leadership both on and off the stage. She owns and manages an entertainment company, King & I Creative LLC (KIC Music), and has had great success working with clients such as American Express, the BBB, M.A.C. Cosmetics, NY&Co, Discover and more. Yo produced and starred in her first production show that debuted in Sydney, Australia and Las Vegas. Her songs and vocals have been featured in stage plays, on film soundtracks and various albums. She enjoys spending leisure time with her amazing daughter, family and friends traveling, relaxing, and watching sports.
Jonathan (aka J-Fiaa) Baker
Vocals
A talented vocalist whose musical journey began in the halls of the church. In 1998 J-Fiaa secured a record deal with Sony/Epic Records and his debut track “Curious” went double platinum. Notable collaborations with industry icons like Genuine, Macy Gray, B2k, Michael Jackson and esteemed producers Troy Taylor, Chad Elliot, Sean Hall, Ralph Stacy, Steve Russell, Montell Jordan, Dave Jam Hall, Bishop, and Joyln Skinner underscore J-Fiaa’s multifaceted artistry. J-Fiaa has also graced the stage alongside eminent artists including 3lw, Jagged Edge, Ne-yo, Ludacris, DMX, Foxy Brown, Fabolous, Noreaga, Jimmy Cozier, Product G&B, Aaron Hall, and Erykah Badu. Following a successful tenure with Sony/Epic Records, J-Fiaa ventured into a new chapter in Colorado, with a dedication to leveraging music as a force for positive change, J-Fiaa continues to craft melodies that captivate hearts and minds while leaving an indelible impact on the industry
Norrell Moore
Vocals
Among her other gigs as a professional entertainer, Norrell Moore has built a longstanding musical theatre career throughout Colorado. Her most-loved roles include Patsy Cline in Always… Patsy Cline (BDT Stage), Pippi in The Great American Trailer Park Musical (Miner’s Alley Playhouse), and Vivienne Kensington in Legally Blonde (Arvada Center for the Arts). When she is not entertaining, Moore teaches barre and yoga group fitness classes. It has been Norrell Moore’s utmost pleasure to share the stage with some of Colorado’s finest musicians for over three years as a frontline vocalist with Syndicate Denver. Her absolute favorite part about performing with Syndicate is getting everyone to the dance floor and grooving all night long!
Doug Hunt
Rapper/Emcee/Vocals
Born in the St. Louis area, Doug started dancing at the age of 6 and moved to Denver, CO in 1993. After high school, he joined a Christian rap group called Positive Image in 1993 to promote positivity against gangs, guns and violence. Doug won national dance competitions in late 90’s early 2000’s and began teaching Hip Hop classes professionally in 1999. He danced as an opening act at concerts for R&B national recording artist Aaliyah, Boyz II Men, and Ginuwine to name a few. Doug was an interactive dancer and emcee for Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, weddings, corporate parties, social occasions and fundraisers including for John Elway’s daughter’s Sweet 16 birthday Party. Doug never takes any event he does for granted. He enjoys helping families and friends create positive lifetime memories they can cherish forever. His Christian faith, wife, daughters and a positive attitude are his motivation to be the best entertainer possible.
Angel Rivera
Keys/Musical Director/Sound
Angel grew up in Puerto Rico, where he learned and mastered the genres of Salsa, Merengue and Latin Jazz. He was the pianist for the Latin Jazz band of the University of Puerto Rico and then joined the U.S. Air Force where he was exposed to the genres of Funk, Soul and R&B, which he truly enjoys to play! His nearly 30-year military career has given him exposure to diversity allowing him to provide an eclectic approach to the many groups he has performed with across the country. Angel’s most notable influences are Michel Camilo, Eddie Palmieri, Chester Thompson, Greg Phillinganes and Jimmy Smith. He established and directed the Soulamente Band on the Coast of California and the Soul Purpose band in Colorado Springs. Angel has been the Keyboardist and Musical Director for the Syndicate Band for the past 12 years.

Bill Sickles
Guitar
Bills first gig experiences were in variety bands playing weddings and various social events but he was quickly recruited into a thriving rock and roll cover band scene here in Denver Colorado. During that time, he often traveled overseas for the Department of Defense and delivered rock n roll to American forces as far as Japan, Korea, Honduras, Panama, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia. Since the late 1990’s Bill has been performing in a variety of top-level bands playing weddings, corporate events and summer concerts. He joined Syndicate in 2021 and loves the energy and professionalism each band member brings to the stage.
In addition to performing, he is also a music educator and has been teaching guitar privately for over 25 years. His interest in a wide range of music genres has helped him become a well-rounded and versatile player. Bill loves performing and connecting with audiences to create those memorable and magical moments.
Jake Stanbro
Bass
Based in the vibrant city of Denver, Jake is a dedicated bassist with a passion for creating memorable musical moments. Graduating from the University of Iowa with a degree in music, he has cultivated a strong foundation in music theory and performance. While performing on cruise ships, Jake has developed a diverse repertoire and a love for connecting with audiences through music. From large festival stages to cozy venues in Denver, Jake brings a genuine enthusiasm and dedication to every performance. Now settled in Denver, Jake continues to explore new musical horizons while sharing his love for music with the community. Whether laying down iconic basslines with the Syndicate band, or jamming with fellow musicians, Jake remains committed to the joy of making music.
Eric Stehle
Sax
Eric Stehle hails from Denver, Colorado where he currently works as a music performer, educator, and clinician. By the age of 9, Eric was playing sax steadily in his father’s band and occasionally with a variety of other bands, both locally and nationally. In 2004, Eric graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a BA in Music Education. In 2011, he received his Master’s Degree in Jazz Studies, also from UNC. During his time there he has received numerous accolades including Downbeat Magazine’s Award for Outstanding Jazz Soloist, and Outstanding Jazz Combo. Eric has performed at several venues across the United States, Canada and Europe. He has performed with multiple Grammy Award winners and famous jazz musicians including Debra Brown, Terence Blanchard, Maria Schneider, John Hollenbeck and more. Eric had the honor of playing for President George Bush and for President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle. Eric continues to be influenced and inspired by the hard-working people around him and hopes to do the same for his students and fellow musicians.
Missy Steinbock
Trumpet
Missy was born in the UK just outside of London and moved to the United States when she was a child, and eventually to Colorado where she attended the University of Colorado Boulder on scholarship. Missy studied with master trumpet instructor Jim Grafmyer from the U.S. Naval Academy, and trumpet guru Claude Gordan in Los Angeles. Missy has been a freelance musician in the Denver area for over 20 years. Prior to joining Syndicate, she was in the horn section with Soul X for 12 years. Prior to Soul X she was very active in the Latin music circuit of Denver. Although conservatory trained on the trumpet, her heart lies in funk, blues, Latin, and jazz. Missy is the trumpet instructor for the University of Colorado Denver and a guest lecturer for music industry classes there. She maintains an active teaching studio for private instruction and is proud to pass on the excellent education that was given to her.
Dave Wiske
Trombone
A Colorado native, Dave has been playing trombone in the Denver area for the past 35+ years. He has performed with artists such as Phillip Bailey and Larry Dunn of Earth, Wind and Fire, Natalie Cole, Linda Ronstadt, Frankie Valli, Rita Moreno, Marvin Hamlisch, The Temptations and The Four Tops. He received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music education from the University of Northern Colorado and spent time working on a doctoral degree in trombone performance at the University of Colorado.
